TypeSafe shipped an official skill that teaches Claude Code how to build on Jev. It is one of the cleanest skills I've read. About 1,300 words. Almost every line blocks the agent from guessing. What it forces Claude Code to do: ➔ Pull TypeSafe live docs before any code lands ➔ Keep rules, maths, and lookups in normal code; reserve Jev for judgment calls ➔ Pick the right question type: Choice for one of a set, Noul for yes or no, Score for how much The money line: ask independent questions in one call, not one by one. TypeSafe ran that pattern in their cookbook. 13 questions in a single call came back 12.2x cheaper and 10x faster with the same answers. saw this thing on yt where someone was pumping out these vids of him putting tf2 into mc along with doom and steve in half life etc but he was gatekeeping the mod and like lowkey he's probably using claude ive been seeing a huge influx of claude coded mashup mods

My teen wants to make Minecraft mods and has no coding aptitude but I thought maybe I could get him a Claude plan that would allow him try “vibe-coding” but you have to be 18+ to use Claude Code? What is the reason for this? What makes it so risky for under 18? The recommended alternatives are GitHub or Replit. I’m familiar with the latter, but it seems less straightforward than Claude Code. Am I wrong about this?

me acabo de cruzar con un repo que convierte Claude Code en un modder de videojuegos le apuntas a un juego que tengas instalado y puede: detectar el engine entender como se modifica leer el codigo y formatos del juego crear sprites, modelos 3D y audio construir el mod probarlo dentro del juego y hasta generar el video para mostrarlo ya lo usaron para meter una bomba nuclear en Terraria y robotaxis en Age of Empires II todo empezo con prompts de una sola linea salio hoy mismo

It's utterly ridiculous that Claude, the machine that once helped you do world changing things for a brief window of history, is now reduced to only allowing you to simulate videogames and game mods, you aren't allowed to do anything else; Anthropic even scrapes this platform to advertise useless meaningless game things as it's only user showcases these days.

It's fun to play #Civ7 while Claude agents are working in the background. I made a mod to show them as units in the game, so I can keep them busy while I'm busy with war and building wonders

Claude Code added claude --desktop and install-time config for bundled MCP servers. claude --desktop opens the Desktop app on your current directory, or on a session with continue or resume. claude plugin configure shows a plugin's options. plugin install --config can set a bundled .mcpb MCP server's own settings at install so it starts without a Configure detour. Claude Code is Anthropic's coding agent. This release is about jumping from the CLI into Desktop and configuring bundled MCP servers at install.
