@ClaudeDevs If telemetry is disabled, this plugin’s feature flag defaults to false. Workaround: set CLAUDE_CODE_GB_DISK_CACHE_WHEN_TELEMETRY_OFF=1 and "tengu_jolly_dewdrop": true in ~/.claude.json, then enable the plugin.

You can now reprogram Claude Code itself. New mods hook into every agent event: prompts, tool calls, permissions, the whole UI. Claude Code can write them for you and hot reload. They run unsandboxed though, so only install mods from sources you trust. #ClaudeCode

Official update from ClaudeDevs: the new “You Should Know” plugin for Claude Code spins up a parallel observer that scans every output for risks, side effects, and details the main model treats as routine. In the demo it caught retry logic that could double-charge customers, explained the missing idempotency key, and handed the fix back into the session without the developer having to dig. It is enabled with one command and lives inside the new mods system, so the watcher itself is just another sandboxed plugin sitting on the same event stream. The practical win is real. AI coding sessions move too fast for manual review of every implication, and this is the first built-in attempt to surface the ones that actually cost money. pls don't post slop videos like these :( @bcherny @trq212 some ant folks and many claude users have posted far better examples showcasing mods.. think forcing to use claude for producing videos is poor because models just aren't good at it yet..

Claude Code Mods drop via /plugin from ClaudeDevs. Before I install, I want one answer: who published this, and what does their Claude Code TypeScript actually touch? Supply-chain risk on a coding agent isn't theoretical — it's the same root as npm, with machine access attached. If the author isn't clear, the mod doesn't land on my machine.

Claude Code 2.1.287 上线 Mods：插件能重写发给模型的 prompt、拦截改写工具调用、替换部分界面。听着很爽？ 但没人说：Mods 没有沙箱，跑在和 Claude Code 本体一样的本机权限下。 装 mod = 交出整台机器。等插件市场一火，这里就是下一个 npm 供应链爆点。只装读得懂源码的 mod。
