cache-timer
by bqnhat · ★ 0 · updated today
Shows how long the prompt cache stays warm, as a dim Cache mm:ss countdown in the footer of Claude Code Desktop, restarted by each model response of the main thread. The cache lifetime (5 minutes or 1 hour, per account) is learned from the responses: a cache read after more than five idle minutes means one hour, a full rewrite means five; until then the countdown shows ~ and assumes five
